Most of these folks may be familiar to you because they’re worked extensively in Orlando theater and music. But here’s a bio for E. Mani Cadet, who played Sportin’ Life in last weekend’s Porgy and Bess, and some info about the Millay Sisters:

E. Mani Cadet was born in Miami, Florida but was raised in Jean-Rebel, Haiti, where he simmered in the rich tradition of his family’s Haitian culture and his passion for music and acting was ignited. Mani is a seasoned performer, having achieved great acclaim in opera, musical theater and as a concert entertainer. Mani has performed on such world-renowned stages as the Lyric Opera of Chicago, New York City Opera, Florida Grand Opera, Des Moines Metro Opera, Connecticut Opera, Martinique Opera, Berganz Opera, the Cotton Club and the Music Theatre of Wichita. Some of Mani’s beloved roles include: Jazz in Blitzstein’s opera Regina, Tamino in Mozart’s The Magic Flute, Edgardo in Lucia di Lammermoor, Peter Quint in The Turn of the Screw, Agew in Once on This Island and Old Deuteronomy in Cats.
