Groff to ‘Deathtrap,’ Radcliffe to ‘Succeed’

A couple of chunks of news about famous boyish actors:

Daniel Radcliffe (right) is reportedly going to play the lead, J. Pierrepont Finch, in a Broadway revival of How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. It’ll be his Broadway musical debut.

And Jonathan Groff, who made his name in Broadway’s Spring Awakening and has just turned up as a teenage heartthrob on Glee, is said to be taking on one of the lead roles — opposite the fabulous Simon Russell Beale — in a London revival of Deathtrap.

(The photo to the right shows Groff with Glee costar Lea Michele, who also starred with him in Spring Awakening and was the Little Girl in the original Broadway production of Ragtime.)

What does it say about me that I’m less interested in Jonathan Groff than I am in Simon Russell Beale? I know, I know.

  1. News my daughter will be interested in. The girls taped the glee episode when it started up again and watched it the next morning before school. I got to see a little of it before I headed off to work.

  2. You know me — always looking out for the 13-year-olds!
