Theatre Downtown announces auditions for one of the world’s best-loved musicals, Annie
Auditions will be held for the following:
- Annie & Orphans: Monday May 3 2010 6-9 pm
- Adult Roles: Tuesday May 4 2010 6-10 pm
- Callbacks: Saturday May 8 2010 12-4 pm

Seeking performers of all ages and ethnicities. Ages 6 and up.
Please prepare 16 Bars of an uptempo and a ballad. Please nothing from the show.
Be prepared to dance; you may be asked to read from the script
Production dates will be July 9 through August 8, 2010.
Performances are Thursday, Friday & Saturday at 8 PM. There will be 4 Sunday matinees.

PRINCIPAL ROLES:
- Annie – (10-12, Belter A – high F) Orphan, street-wise, warm, empathetic
- Oliver Warbucks – (40-65, Baritone C – High F) Rich, powerful, business-minded
- Miss Hannigan – (30-60 Mezzo Soprano A – A flat) Alcoholic, orphanage matron. Excellent comic timing and acrid delivery required.
- Grace Farrell – (25-35 Soprano A – High G) Warbucks’ assistant. Must be excellent singer and dancer.
- Lily St. Regis – (18-40 Soprano D – High G) Rooster’s floozy girlfriend. Must dance well.
- Rooster Hannigan – (18-50, Bari-tenor B – High G) Miss Hannigan’s criminal brother. Must be strong dancer.
- FDR – (40-65, Baritone C flat – F) The President. Authentic impersonation required.
- Bert Healy – (18-45, Bari/Tenor) Radio Personality. Rudy Vallee-type crooner. Will likely double in ensemble roles.
- Orphans (Ages 6 to 13) – Must sing and dance well. Duffy, July, Kate, Molly, Pepper, Tessie
- Ensemble:Large dancing/singing ensemble required.
Multiple speaking/singing roles available.
All ages and physical types.
