New I Drive theater needs a pianist

There’s a new theater opening July 6 in the tourist zone. It’s called the Pointe Performing Arts Center, and it will be the home of FantasyLand Theatrical (the folks who did the Laramie Project sequel at Lake Eola last fall). At the Pointe they’ll be taking a sharp turn with a season of mainstream comedies (and one drama): Greater Tuna, Tuesdays With Morrie, Nunsense and Nunsense A-Men — and they’re looking for a pianist for Nunsense.

Here’s a link to FantasyLand’s website to find out more.

And here’s some info from Leesa Hanna, who is working with the group:

Opening Night July 6- Tickets on sale now online!!

FantasyLand Theatrical Productions is proud to announce our summer stock 2010 season. Our first of many seasons at the Pointe Performing Arts Center Opening this June at Pointe Orlando (International Drive next to Wonderworks).

This summer we will be presenting 2 plays and a musical. This summer’s theme is reflection of life. Observe life through the absurd banter of ‘Greater Tuna’ or the timeless reflections of ‘Tuesdays with Morrie’. Meet the Little Sisters of Hoboken as they share the story of their convent in ‘Nunsense’ and ‘Nunsense A-men!’.

Our Summer Stock season offers something for everyone: Laughter, Tears, Singing nuns, Famous Characters and Timeless Truths. We hope to see you soon at one or all of these Performances.

There is no mention of the job opening on the website or any way to contact this theater. They may want to do a better job in seeking out prospective talent for their venture.
