Theater auditions: ‘Summer Shorts 2010’

Auditions Announced for Summer Shorts 2010

Playwrights’ Round Table’s auditions for the upcoming production of Summer Shorts 2010 will be held Saturday, June 19, from noon to 5 pm at the Seminole County Library in Casselberry (at 215 N. Oxford Road, just off SR 436 two lights east of US 17-92). Callbacks will be held Sunday, June 20, from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the same location.

Needed are 10 men and 7 women; ages are mostly in the 20s-30s, except one female role in the 40s-50s range, 1 female role in the 60s-80s range, and 1 male in the 30s-40s range. One male role requires a large man of some girth. Actors of all ethnicities are encouraged to attend. All roles are unpaid.

Please bring a headshot and resume, and be prepared to do a one-minute monologue of your choice and to cold-read from the scripts. Performers will be seen on a first-come, first-served basis; please sign in when you arrive.

We are also seeking a stage manager and crew members; please send resumes or direct phone calls to the places below.

Summer Shorts 2010 will be performed at the John and Rita Lowndes Shakespeare Center’s Studio B on August 5-7 and 11-15.
