Theater potluck: Right around the corner

Coming this week — the theater-community potluck, where you get a chance to mix with other theater folk and eat their food.

Where: Patrons’ Room, Lowndes Shakespeare Center, Loch Haven Park, Orlando.

When: 6-9:30 p.m. Sunday Aug. 8.

This guy to the right will probably not be a guess, but he’s certainly welcome to come. Anyway, he has the eating thing down pat.

Here’s more info:

THE PURPOSE? To hang out, talk with other theater folks and meet new ones. Who knows, maybe some new projects will be hatched. And if not, you’ve had a good time and eaten some good food. What could be bad?

WHO’S INVITED? If you consider yourself part of the Orlando theater community, you are.

WHAT DO YOU BRING? Something to share for dinner — appetizers, a main dish, vegetables, salads, bread, dessert or whatever. If you don’t cook, there are some very nice local grocery stores and restaurants that would love to help you out.

Questions? Ask, and we’ll figure it out, or we’ll make it up as we go along.

See you there!

Is this open to peopole who just enjoy theater, or really only for people who participate in presentaing theater?

    • If you think of yourself as part of the theater community, you’re welcome. Most of the folks who come, though, are actual theater practitioners. (Not me, though!)
