Buy one, get one later at the Melon Patch — if you’re 60

If you’re celebrating your 60th birthday this year, Leesburg’s Melon Patch Theatre has a deal for you: If you buy a ticket to its production of Guys and Dolls, you’ll get another ticket that you can use later in the 2010-2011 season. It’s all to celebrate the Melon Patch’s own 60th birthday (and for a Central Florida theater, that’s pretty darned old).

Here’s the deal:

The Melon Patch Theater has a Gift for You

The Melon Patch Theater has a special gift for you to celebrate our 60th anniversary. Patrons who purchase a ticket for Guys and Dolls and who are celebrating their 60th birthday anytime in 2010 will get one comp ticket to a future Melon Patch production during our 2010-2011 season.

How does it work? It’s easy. Start by purchasing at least (1) ticket for Guys and Dolls. When you come to see this fast-paced, feel-good musical production, show your driver’s license to our box-office staff and get your comp ticket for a future show of your choice including Over the River and Through the Woods, 2nd Annual Melon Patch Family Christmas, God’s Favorite, A Salute To Broadway, and They’re Playing our Song. You must attend Guys and Dolls to receive your comp ticket.

What’s next? First check your calendar for the show date that fits your schedule. You can choose from Sept 17, 18, 19, 24, 25, 26, Oct 1, 2 and 3 (show times are listed to the right.) Then race, amble and stroll in to buy your tickets by calling our Box Office at (352) 787-3013. You can even buy tickets to Guys and Dolls over and over and over again.

Q: How many 60 year olds does it take to fill up the Melon Patch Theater?
A: Buy a ticket and find out.

Guys and Dolls is the musical event of the season so bring your family, friends and neighbors. Reserve your seats today by calling the Box Office at (352) 787-3013.

See you at the Patch.
