GOAT boasts Grammy nominee at its Halloween show

Two-time Grammy nominee Elsten Torres will perform at Greater Orlando Actors Theatre’s Halloween celebration, called GOAT Resurrection, Saturday Oct. 30 at the Lowndes Shakespeare Center.

The Cuban-born Torres, a singer and songwriter of Latin rock and pop, plans to write a musical with GOAT’s artistic director, Paul Castaneda, and others involved with the company.

Greater Orlando Actors Theatre (GOAT) announces “GOAT Resurrection: Greater Orlando Actors Theatre’s Second Annual Halloween Event” at 8 p.m. on Saturday, October 30. This year it will be in the Patrons’ Room at the John & Rita Lowndes Shakespeare Center.

Join us for the ultimate Halloween theatre experience. Your paid admission OF $20 single/$35 couple gives you food, soft drinks, beer and wine (with ID), dancing, and live entertainment featuring selections from some of your favorite Halloween-themed musicals.

Entertainment includes; John DiDonna via the New York stage where he is appearing as Frank N. Furter in The Rocky Horror Show; film/TV/theatre actor Dennis Neal; and actor and published author Roger Floyd with excerpts from his book Feast of Sorrow, a Vampires Tale. There will be additional entertainment throughout the night provided by Greater Orlando Actors Theatre veterans Ian Clark, Wyatt Glover, John Gracey, Krystal Gillette, Katrina Johnson, Jac LeDoux and Desiree Perez.
