Theater auditions: ‘Hello, Dolly! in Kissimmee (revised)

Auditions for Hello, Dolly!

The Osceola Center for the Arts is holding open auditions for the musical comedy Hello, Dolly! on Sunday, November 28 and Monday, November 29 from 6pm until 8pm.  Auditions will be held at the Center and are open to the public.  Actors may attend either evening and should prepare 16 bars of a song and be ready to read from the script and dance if asked.  All roles are available and include the following characters:

  • Horace Vandergelder
  • Cornelius Hackl
  • Barnaby Tucker
  • Irene Malloy
  • Minnie Fay
  • Ambrose Kemper
  • Ermengarde
  • Ernestina
  • Rudy
  • Waiters
  • Men’s & Women’s Ensemble

Please note that all roles are unpaid.

Hello, Dolly! runs January 21 thru February 6 on Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30pm and Sundays at 2pm and will be directed by David Gerrard.  Gerrard directed Oklahoma and The Sound of Music last season at the Center.
