Breakthrough sets dates for winter and spring

Breakthrough Theatre has added some new things to its season and subtracted others, so here’s the latest update on what’s going on at the little theater in Winter Park:

  • December 9 -19. 2010: Nuncrackers: The Nunsense Christmas Musical, directed by Wade Hair (Thursday, Fridays, Saturdays, and Mondays at 8 pm and Sundays at 3)
  • December 12: Auditions for Best of Broadway: 1995-1999 (6:30-8:30 pm)
  • December 14: Auditions for Best of Broadway: 1995-1999 (7-9 pm)
  • January 7-9: Thespian Musical Showcase (Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m., and Sunday at 3 p.m.)
  • January 21 – February 6, 2011: Best of Broadway: 2005-2009, directed by Wade Hair (Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m., Sundays at 3 p.m., and Industry Night on Monday, January 24, at 8 p.m.)
  • February 25 – March 13, 2011: The Diary of Anne Frank, directed by Tanya Roller (Fridays and Saturdays at 8 pm and Sundays at 3 pm, with Industry Night performances on Monday, February 28 and March 7, at 8 pm)
  • March 24 – April 4, 2011: Daddy’s Dyin’, Who’s Got the Will, directed by Tara Corless (Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Mondays at 8 p.m., and Sundays at 3 p.m.)
  • April 8-9, 2011: Breakthrough’s Original One Act Festival (7 p.m.-12 a.m.)
  • April 29 – May 15, 2011: Closer Than Ever, directed by Wade Hair
    (Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m., Sundays at 3 p.m., and Industry Nights on Monday, May 2 and 9 at 8 p.m.)
  • May 19-30: Orlando Fringe Festival
  • June 13 – July 7, 2011: Summer Drama Camp
  • July 8 – July 17: Summer Drama Camp production of School House Rock Live!
  • July 24, 2011: 2nd Year Anniversary Celebration and Awards
