The Garden Theatre in Winter Garden is looking for some volunteers to take tickets, usher, work at the concession stand and do other useful stuff. Volunteer-training sessions are coming up. Here’s more:
The Garden Theatre announces the next Volunteer Orientation sessions at the Garden Theatre (160 West Plant Street). These sessions will provide background on theatre history and operations, as well as on volunteer roles for any community members interested in becoming more involved with the theatre.
Orientation sessions will be held on:
Saturday, February 12 from 11 am-noon
Thursday, February 17 from 7-8 pm
The Garden Theatre is seeking individuals who have an interest in volunteering for the live performance season in the concession area, taking tickets, ushering, and a variety of other activities. High school students needing community service hours can also fulfill their requirements with this volunteer opportunity. Volunteers ages 14 and up are welcome (under age 16 with parent or guardian). Space permitting, volunteers are invited to watch the performance for free on the night they volunteer.
