Orlando Repertory Theatre seeks part-time field-trip assistant
Orlando Repertory Theatre (the Rep), a family entertainment company, seeks an energetic, reliable and detail-oriented part-time field-trip assistant with solid administrative skills for its education department.
A field trip assistant in the education department can expect to be involved in supporting the day-to-day administrative duties of the field trip manager. Daily duties may include handling field trip reservations and payment through our ticketing system, answering field trip emails and phone calls, assisting in generating weekly reports, maintaining budgets, working closely with our field trip patrons (children, parents, and teachers) to ensure a smooth and safe check-in, meeting, greeting, and seating school day field trips, serving as assistant house manager for all field trip performances and serving as head house manager when necessary, and assisting the field trip manager with any other duties or responsibilities associated with field trips.
Potential candidates must multi-task and maintain a professional demeanor and image at all times, have excellent customer service skills, be reliable and trustworthy, type at least 45 wpm, have a knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.), and learn quickly and easily adapt to change.
The Rep’s mission is to create experiences that enlighten, entertain and enrich the lives of family and young audiences. Our award-winning Rep Youth Academy provides classes, camps, and specialized training to children ages pre-K to 18. The Rep, housed in a three-theater complex in Loch Haven Park, is also home to the University of Central Florida’s MFA in Theatre for Young Audiences.
