Fringe 2011 outdoor stage schedule

Look here for info on what’s happening on the outdoor stage, as well as what else is going on outdoors on the lawn. (That information is at the bottom of this list.)

All shows on the outdoor stage are free, although performers will accept your tips.

Wednesday May 18, Opening Gala

5 p.m. Classic rock by John Lowbridge.
6 p.m. Fringe Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Hosted by Pepe and Beth Marshall featuring Mayor Buddy Dyer doing Fringe’s 20th annual proclamation.

Thursday May 19

8-9 p.m. Ghost stories by Country Joe.
9:30-10:30 p.m. Pepe Lately (Fringe Favorite Pepe returns to perform and an interview a variety of celebrity guests).

On May 18 and May 30, only certain vendors will be working.

  • Bigger and better Beer Tent (with beer provided by City Beverages and wine provided by Barefoot Wines), $5.
  • Brian Feldman’s Root Beer Tent (6-11:59 p.m. Tuesday May 25), $2 for ice-cold root beer.
  • Surprise pop-up performances by Voci Dance. Actually, not so much of a surprise: Voci will perform ARTeology at 9:20 p.m. Sunday May 29 at the large blue sculpture just south of Orlando Museum of Art. Admission is $5 (cash only).
  • Mushrooms by Doug Rhodehamel.
  • Surprise reprise of Fringe Flash Mob 2011.
