Cast members from the national tour of Wicked, in Orlando for the next month or so, will perform in a cabaret show to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and the Orange County Arts Education Center.
The place? The new Mezz, the events space owned by Florida Theatrical Association at the corner of Pine Street and Eola Drive in Thornton Park.

A job opening at the Orange County Arts Education Center:
Congratulations to Scott Evans, director of the Orange County Arts Education Center, who built that office from its start and is now leaving to become coordinator of visual and performing arts at Orange County Public Schools.
I can’t think of a better guy to take on that job, and I know I’m not the only one to wish him the best in it.
