Orlando Shakes announces ‘Earnest’ cast

Orlando actor Philip Nolen — known for such shows as Guys and Dolls, Amadeus and The Big Bang, as well as for his work at Disney — will play the larger-than-life Lady Bracknell in Oscar Wilde’s classic comedy The Importance of Being Earnest, Orlando Shakespeare Theater has announced.

Canny to play Miss Adelaide

And here’s the final announcement for the four leads in the Mad Cow/Orlando Philharmonic Guys and Dolls: Andrea Canny will play Miss Adelaide.

She’ll join Davis Gaines as Sky Masterson, Michelle Knight-Hinson as Sarah Brown and Philip Nolen as Nathan Detroit.

Nolen, Knight-Hinson to be in ‘Guys and Dolls’

The entire cast still hasn’t been announced, but I hear that Philip Nolen is playing Nathan Detroit in the Mad Cow Theatre/Orlando Philharmonic concert staging of Guys and Dolls and that Michelle Knight-Hinson is playing the missionary doll Sarah Brown.
