Lots going on in 2011-2012 for Winter Park Playhouse, including one show (Musical of Musicals, the Musical) that has been done extensively around Orlando and a bunch of other shows that are new (or almost new) to the area:
Summer Series
- Bathing in Bette, June 3-18. Cassandra Hohn in a one-woman tribute to Bette Midler.
- Completely Hollywood (Abridged), July 15-Aug. 6. By Reed Martin and Austin Tichenor with additional material by Dominic Conti.
Fall Series
- Musical of Musicals (The Musical), Aug. 19-28 and Sept. 9-17. Book and music by Eric Rockwell, lyrics by Joanne Bogart.
- Ruthless! The Musical, Oct. 7=29. Book and lyrics by Joel Paley, music by Marvin Laird.
- Anything Cole!, Nov. 18 and 19 and Dec. 2-17. A song and dance tribute to Cole Porter.
Spring Series
- I Love You Because, Jan. 20-Feb. 11. Music by Joshua Salzman, book and lyrics Ryan Cunningham.
- The Andrews Brothers, March 2-24. Musical By Roger Bean.
- Baby, April 20-May 12. Book by Sybille Pearson, music by David Shire, lyrics by Richard Maltby Jr.
